SwimDek and Hyperform Company History

About SwimDek

SwimDek is the sister company of SeaDek Marine Products, the company that introduced PE/EVA non-skid decking to the marine industry almost 15 years ago.  After years of innovation and breakthroughs with PE/EVA materials, manufacturing, and CNC technology, SwimDek has evolved as a durable non-skid product that stands up to the rigors of outdoor aquatic environments, while providing an opulent surface that exudes luxury and sophistication.

SwimDek is designed to compliment hot tubs, swim spas, showers, and composite decks, as well as many other applications where safety, comfort, and style are desired.  As an authorized 3M converter, SwimDek utilizes an acrylic-based pressure sensitive adhesive that provides both a strong lasting bond and easy peel and stick application.

Manufactured from imported materials at their Rockledge, FL, manufacturing facility, SwimDek has a quality management system that ensures every product meets stringent standards.

Their large-scale production capabilities allow them to serve the most demanding OEM clients while remaining detail-oriented and attentive to the needs of even the smallest projects.

Based on the principles of honesty, quality, and a commitment to constant improvement, the SwimDek team is capable of taking any project from concept to completion.

About Hyperform

Hyperform is the parent company of SwimDek. Founded in 1988, Hyperform began as a company manufacturing products for the surfing industry, including surfboard fins, sailboard traction, and surf wax. After advancements with closed-cell PE/EVA foam, they started producing X-TrakĀ® surf traction pads and K-gripĀ®, a line of pads designed for eleven-time world champion surfer Kelly Slater.

After further innovation with marine-grade PE/EVA blended materials and CNC technology, the company expanded its offerings to the marine industry with the introduction of SeaDek, which pioneered concepts such as two-color laminations, faux teak patterns, and new texturing possibilities. SeaDek revolutionized marine flooring with a safe, comfortable, and stylish alternative to carpet and traditional molded-in non-skid.

With the success of SeaDek, Hyperform took the natural step into the pool and spa market with the introduction of SwimDek. Staying true to their history of quality manufacturing, they continue to design new products and fabrication techniques, remaining on the leading edge of innovation. With their massive production capabilities and international network of certified, factory trained fabricators and installers, Hyperform is capable of tackling the most demanding custom projects.
